Stott has a .228 BABIP. It is discouraging that he is not having a better year than last year after his Spring Training performance, but he is far from the problem. He just may be a 700-725 OPS bat with good defense. We hoped for more, but it is not like he is nothing.
He is probably near the top of the list of our "sell" candidates if it came to that. No need to think of that yet, and we really should not add anything to the team unless we are in better playoff position. Doing nothing for the moment is probably the best course.
