Rupp and Joseph have each walked twice tonight.

I'm glad it wasn't the Phils' pitcher who gave up a walk to the 8-hole hitter with the .206 batting average and then gave up a HR to the opposing pitcher.

Dbacks tied it in the 4th on a couple of singles, sacrifice bunt and ground out to short.

Arizona takes the lead 3-2 on a Peralta rbi single to right scoring Robbie Ray who had doubled in the 5th inning.

I just noticed Lively doesn't have any K's in his 5 innings or BB's.
Ray has 5 K's and 4 BB's in his 6 innings.

The top of the sixth ends with a Herrera single, and caught stealing as he took off on first movement and Ray through to first.

Lively touched for a lead off homer to start the sixth. A double and an out later, Milner comes in to pitch for the Phillies.

Two singles, a walk, and a hit batter make it a 6-2 game after six innings. Milner fitting into the bullpen like a veteran.

But he got Goldschmidt to ground out with the bases loaded. I thought Milner was doomed there.

Not sure Milner's stuff is going to play up here unless his command is much, much better.

Phillies leave bases loaded in the top of the 7th as Joseph strikes out to end the inning.

Bottom of the 7th, Milner K's Lamb and then is lifted.
Ramos gets an out but walks the second batter he faces.
Morgan come on, runner on first, two out.
Morgan proves the point that if the manager tries enough relievers, he can get one who will not have a good night. Three runs later, Morgan gets a K to end the inning. Now 9-2, Diamondbacks.

I realize the Phils aren't a great team, but I also feel like they're playing below their level of talent. Getting the bases loaded with 1 out and then not scoring any runs in the 7th with Altherr and Joseph batting really hurt. As a phan, I'm mostly looking forward to fresh faces from AAA at this point.
