I have no further information, but this seems unlikely for him to be carted off. This is a person who was doing cartwheels like 4 months after an ACL and could barely walk in the SB.

He walked off the field with help and then was carted inside from the sidelines.

Nothing wrong with being extra careful with a player's health; in fact, it should be the norm IMO.

That is the bigger issue IMO. Dickerson had a knee injury last season and also in college. What were those injuries and was it the same knee or ?

He has blown out both ACLs in college

Edit: to be more descriptive, he tore both ACLs at different times in college. First one his freshman year and the last one his last year.

College Injuries:
2016: Season-ending ACL tear in his right knee at Florida State.
2017: Season-ending ankle injury at Florida State.
2018: Severe ankle sprain in his left ankle at Florida State.
2020: Tore his left ACL in the SEC Championship game while playing for Alabama.

He also has minor knee surgery this offseason.

Look, it's great that if this is all it was and yes the Eagles did a great job here. But with Landon's history I am very skeptical with what gets him helped off any field.

The reports have gone from being carted off and not supporting any weight to carted off after walking it off. There is a huge difference.

As he continues to age, it will be more difficult for him to recover from these types of injuries. Due to these injuries, I see him as a semi-viable OL for two to three more years.

My way too early observations following 15 Eagles practices and 2 preseason games (if you recall at this time last year I had written off Nolan Smith):
- Thank God we have seen the end of the Sydney Brown as a permanent starter era. That guy I have been right on. Fine as a backup to Blankenship and special teams guy. If I have to hear one more fan posting about his potential I'm going to puke. Again, should have been a RB.
- Why are we still screwing around with Adoree Jackson? I know we don't have anyone grabbing the job, but the guy is waiver wire replacement value at best. If you're gonna struggle there anyway, go with a young guy
- I'm bullish on Ty Robinson. Gabe Hall as #5 and we're fine. Saw Byron Young get pushed into the end zone one on one by the Brown's backup guard which can't happen if you're playing NT- at best PS at this point.
- #3 DE is worrisome. Olujari good this game, but invisible before. Uche good at times, but no consistency. The fact that APR is getting no run with only these guys ahead of him means he's terrible. May be a position that's addressed with one of our 13 2026 draft picks via trade.
- Jihad Campbell flashes and is pulled. He's starting next to Baun. Trotter is physically challenged, unfortunately. Career backup. Smael Mondon is at least a year in an NFL strength program away from contributing.
- All you have to do is see DTR and McCord stand side by side to understand why the Eagles will keep McCord over DTR. I mean, what is the upside with him? Not much, he's not Kyler Murray. Too bad the Eagles bloggers don't understand this .
- is there anything more annoying than the Spadaro player interview while the game is going on? I mean, who cares if Landon Dickerson is mugging for the camera or if Zack Baun thinks the Eagles fans are great? Is the target audience for this 10-year old kids?
-The Eagles kickoff coverage under the new rules is worrisome. It has been since last year, but this year will be worse because 90% of kickoffs will be returned.

Lost to the Browns in a pre-season battle off 2s and 3s. Mukuba had an INT pick 6 and a fumble recovery. Almost everyone else looked mediocre or worse. DTR was awful, McCord was almost as bad, checked everything down. 2nd offensive line opened no holes in the running game, and did not protect well. Toth was bad a t guard and center. Interestingly, Kendall played the second half at LG, not center. Mondon generally played OK at LB, but misread the one long run they gave up to the Browns badly and just took himself out of the hole.

To show how deep the Eagles went in their sill players, Brown, D.Smith, and Dotson didn’t play, Wilson and Cooper barely played, Dillon barely played, Shipley didn’t play, Goedert, Calcaterra, and Jenkins didn’t play...and McKee didn’t play.
