I'm more impressed, but not surprised, that they flew a dreamliner for a 50 minute flight. I wonder how they decide who gets the lay flat or the extended legroom seats from the regular seats.

Probably seniority, then height. Really those lie flat cubicles aren't terriblly comfortable, or easy to get in and out of - especially if you're 280 pounds!

I'm thinking the Phillies have been on worse planes for longer trips for sure. But they at least all get their own row.

I'm going to have to disagree with you here. I was on a flight to Vegas with a basketball team (extended legroom on the way out and lie flat on the way back). The players were very comfy in extended legroom. Obviously they still had issues if they wanted to lie flat.

Said menu is on Eagles stationary with "December 28 2025/Philadelphia Eagles
Buffalo to Philadelphia" printed at the top.

It definitely is. But you either plan for it or you don't, and a game plan that includes halftime scoreboard-watching is kind of problematic.

Because it's just not something an NFL coaching staff would do, Especially having already decided not to play the starters regardless. Those players were told they aren't playing today, and all week long. Imagine putting Barkley or Hurts in unprepared and seeing one of them get hurt?

If they planned for it then this is not a correct statement. You said a game plan that includes halftime scoreboard watching is problematic. That would imply that the game plan included putting starters back in in a specific scenario.
