Will Bobby Abreu make the HOF?

Yes, Bobby will finally be recognized for the HOF Player he was
He was worthy but he wont be acknowledged
I am tired of talking about Abreu
He was not worthy of the HOF

Honestly, I think he does deserve it, based on stats, but his flaw is that he was not well recognized (never finished higher than 12th in MVP voting) and he was a steady player, but didnt have the extreme years that some guys have, so he only went to 2 All Star games. If the advanced stats had existed at the time that are in common use now he would have gotten a great deal more respect, as they show him to be the 20th best RF of all time.

A very good player but one level below HoF consideration. Nothing wrong with that.

Fine career but...

He never came reasonably close to winning an MVP.

He only was an All-Star twice.

He was a member of a team that won a single postseason series only once (though he did play in four Postseasons).

You kinda need the fan base you played most of your career in front of to support you, so no.

Not going to make it; probably more deserving than some who will. Walks/OBP/good judgment (+great arm) in the field don't garner a whole lot of votes. He needed to win more all-star berths or excel in the post season to get noticed. Bernie Williams and Dave Parker are probably the biggest names on his most similar list. Neither of them is in, Parker probably should be, and I could argue for Williams, although him being a Yankee makes it hard to get behind him emotionally. I think I would probably vote for Bobby A., but I doubt many who actually vote will support him.

And the organization you played most of your career for as well...

I think he is borderline, but will never be acknowledged since he was steady, not flashy, non-controversial and was unlucky to be on mostly non-playoff teams.

The Phillies have treated Abreu badly imo. Hopefully, they will put him on the WOF as a start. Abreu was either the or one of the main reasons to watch and support those Phillies teams he was on.
