Phillies down 1-0 after 1st inning on a Didi Gregorius HR. Phils went down in order in the 1st. One thing that struck me was Phils going with a mixed ML/AAA lineup. NYY starting with all ML players it seems.
It's great to hear Franzke and Anderson again.
1-0 NY after 2.
Tyler Clippard on to pitch the 3rd for NYY.
Phils are held hitless the first time through the lineup, going 3-up/3-down through the first 3 innings.
i fear this might happen alot.
Nick Pivetta pitched the 3rd for Phillies. After 3, 1-0 NYY.
Tommy Layne in to pitch the 4th for NYY.
Pivetta works out of a small jam in the 4th, but gives up 0 runs and strands runners on the corners.
1-0 NYY after 4.
Ok, keep your eyes peeled....NYY have a perfect game going after Luis Cessa sets the Phils down in order in the top half of the 5th.
Bottom of 5th.
Stassi in to replace Joseph at 1B.
Kingery in to replace Hernandez at 2B.
Elniery Garcia on to replace Pivetta. Garcia promptly gives up a "mammoth" HR to Aaron Judge and a BB.
Luis Cessa pitches the 6th inning for NY.
NYY have a perfect game going through 6 innings.
Bottom of 6. Garcia remains in at P.
Logan Moore in at Catcher and Tyler Featherston in at 3B.
4-0 NYY after 6.
Jordan Montgomery in to pitch for NYY.
Phillies get two runners to lead off the 7th.
Kingery reaches on a throwing error and Cam Perkins, in for Roman Quinn, singles.
Daniel Nava singles...run comes home.
4-1 NYY.
Bottom of 7, Sean Burnett in to pitch.
Cam Perkins remains in the game as CF.
Nick Williams replaces Coghlan in RF.
Every starter but SS (Crawford) and LF (Goeddel) has been replaced.
End of 7. 6-2 NYY
Jordan Montgomery remains in for NYY to pitch the 8th.
The 8th inning looks like innings 1-6. 3 up, 3 down for the Phillies.
