Buchholz was tough to watch in the first inning. Walked Romine then clipped Miguel in the left shoulder and started into a downward spiral.He rarely was in the 90s,so batters started to wait on his change, which they jacked over the fence.By the 3rd inning, I was pleased to see him walk off the field. I just hope that he was stretching out scar tissue. To me, batters have a lot of advantage over pitchers who are working on arm strength and accuracy. Except for Kendrick, no one was on the starting line up the day prior. So it was like a totally new team to watch. Again, from the pen, the Phils marched out Rodrigues, Garcia, and Ramos so they were also letting relief pitchers get their time in, The RP squad was excellent and efficient! Saunders and Hoskins showed off. Galvis came through in the clutch, but then screwed up by trying to stretch a single into a triple; so he got caught in a rundown. Hanigan was impressive by not making many outs, although Tigers fans were wondering why he kept his bat on his shoulder during ST. Gomez in for Blanco (3B), Williams for El Torito (CF), Cozens for Saunders (RF), and Stassi for Kendrick (LF), made enabled the post 7th inning Stretch run for the Phils. I'm not sure I got why Nava was DH, but it worked,
