Nelson. I think the main issue with him as the choice is not his experience but that he's the inside/Harris guy. Having Myers above him would provide a more experienced hand. As far as the cap, that's already someone else's job (Ned Cohen). But presumably Myers and any outside person might bring in someone new. And if it's an outside guy one imagines that either Nelson or Brand are also gone.
What's harder to parse is, if a "Myers guy" gets the job does that mean Myers will be more or less hands-on?
Also harder to parse; what the heck are any of these guys really supposed to do so long as Joel is casting a shadow (cap-wise and playing-wise) on the whole thing? Can't strip it down, also can't fully commit to building around the two guards or creating better depth immediately.
