ESPN had his free throw percentage at 79.8. That seemed pretty good to me but I'll admit I'm out of touch with norms on basketball.

Definitely win now but it feels like a smart trade where that 2031 pick is a risk.

Yeah it doesn't seem that bad. At the end of the day Joel was neither going to be easily traded or retired so they're gonna take a few more shots. But also not that different than Morey's vision.

Well, Maxey played way to many minutes last year, so I'd like to see his minutes reduced to 32-35 per game, so hopefully Philon will take up some of those minutes, I'd like them to get another competent point/shooting guard, because I don't want. Edgecomb playing over 40 game either.

Will be interesting how Brown gets along with Embiid, the Flopper. Of course, Brown flops quite a bit too.

Celtics appeared desperate to part ways with Brown. One wonders if Brown oked the trade or may try to hold out/refuse to report. He has certainly not been shy in the past to speak his mind even if it causes riffs within his team.

I’m not a 76ers fan (they are the one Philly team I could never get on board with as a child). As a non fan, that trade was an absolute fleece by Philly. Celtics old low on Brown after his best season as a pro.

I'll be honest...it took a while to sink in that the sixers pulled off this trade and kept their young guards...at his age, he's still someone they could move if things don't work out.
