Anyone who gives money to, votes for and otherwise supports Trump is by nature radical as Trump is way outside the mainstream American views on not only policies, but common decency, morality and empathy. Especially in 2023 now that we know 1000% more about who Trump really is and what his real aims are for the country he supposedly loves.
We do not have open borders, north or south, as anyone who has ever visited the borders or gotten even near it. We have an entire federal department not to mention border state authorities tasked with managing the borders every single day. Ask any immigrant who came through the north and southern borders if they are open and see what they say. It will be very educational; it was for me now that I have a number of friends who undertook that journey to escape corruption, dictatorship, poverty and crime.
School choice is a cover story for defunding public education, starving the government and imposing their own "education" standards i.e. book bans, excluding uncomfortable parts of our history, regulating gays, women and minorities so "they know their place" and making sure teachers espouse the white, Christian nationalist agenda they prefer we all learn and follow.
You forgot about "religious freedom" which is another fallacy to allow continued discrimination of the "others" they do not like or better yet how about "parental rights" which is now being leveraged to undermine gains in healthcare, education, public safety and voting rights.
The GOP is doing a bad job of exorcising Trump. Why? Because the majority of them actually like him, believe he can win again and want to watch it all burn down. The real problem for the Republican party is they have no ideas, no ethics, no policies and no desire to find any. They will win by corruption, force, fear and lies. It has worked before and it can work again as long as they keep fighting to demonize their "enemies" and make sure their voters stay ignorant and pliant.
