Seems like all the outfielders are saying the right things. The best thing you can have on your resume is that you've been part of a winner.

Casty contributed a triple today, and Marsh 3 hits and a key RBI. Kepler made a hell of a catch. Nice to see the outfield projecting as a strength both offensively and defensively.

I think Thompson should break up Schwarzenegger and Harper in the line-up. Neither are hitting well, but it makes it too easy to get left pitchers against them and righty pitchers for the 4th and fifth spots. Both are seeing far too ,Amy lefties in the later innings. It gets frustrating to watch.

Well I think Turner's injury guarantees that. Probably the same line-up as yesterday at the top, or someone else other than Bohm batting second.

I suppose Otto Kemp will be coming up, he and Wilson can both play 2B and 3B while Sosa can't, but they truly won't have a second SS. Rodolfo Castro would be the guy not on the 40 (along with Miller, of course).

I think that is probably right. The only way they lose him if if the Reds make an offer that is close, and that would be greatly uncharacteristic of the Reds. Plus, he would still be choosing home over a better chance at another championship.

But if it's the Yankees or the Dodgers or some other team dangling a check, Middleton's gonna write the same one, unless the offer is truly insane.

If they need another SS Stott will play there and either Kemp or Wilson will play 2B--not ideal, but serviceable.

Weston Wilson has played some SS in the minors, as recently as last season.

Wilson at SS is like a traffic cone. Limited mobility for sure.

True true, I'd almost forgotten. I think they did that a couple of times last year with Clemens at 2B. But they don't have that option against RHP this year so there's probably not much point in doing it. Wilson or Kemp will already be replacing Stottt against LHP. (Maybe. Would also be a perfectly good reason to let him get some ABs, why downgrade the defense further?)
