Playoff format: Three division winners and best second place team make the playoffs.
Where things stand: IronPigs eliminated from division chase, trail Rochester by three games for wild card. Elimination number 4.

AA, Reading, Eastern League
Playoff format: Top two finishers in each division qualify for the playoffs.
Where things stand: Fightin' Phils eliminated from postseason contention.

Advanced A, Clearwater, Florida State League
Playoff format: Split season in which division winner of first half faces division winner of second half. In the event that the first half champion repeats, the team with the next best overall record gets a playoff berth as a wild card. Tampa won the first half in the North Division.
Where things stand: Believe it or not, the Threshers still have a chance. Tampa likewise wins the second half. Threshers trail Dunedin by only three games for the next best overall record, so they actually still have a chance. Approximate elimination number is 3 (sorry, I used really bad calculations the other day ago before finding a more reliable formula!).

Full season A, Lakewood, South Atlantic League
Playoff format: Split season in which division winner of first half faces division winner of second half. In the event that the first half champion repeats, the team with the next best overall record gets a playoff berth as a wild card. Kannapolis won the first half.
Where things stand: Fifth place BlueClaws have no chance to sneak in with the next best record and have an elimination number of 1 for the second half.

Short season A, Williamsport, New York-Penn League
Playoff format: Three division winners and one wildcard (best second place team).
Where things stand: Crosscutters are realistically done for as they have to climb over multiple teams for either the division or the wildcard and face elimination numbers of 3 in both cases.

Rookie, GCL Phillies, Gulf Coast League
Playoff format: Four division winners make the playoffs, no wild cards.
Where things stand: GCL Phillies lead the GCL Blue Jays in the Northwest Division by 3 games. Finally, a magic number...1.

We can close the book on Lakewood now too and possibly Clearwater and Williamsport after today. Meanwhile Rochester is opening the door a crack for Lehigh Valley and GCL is one win or GCL Blue Jay loss away from a second consecutive division title after another late season surge which overtakes the Jays.
