Phillies affiliates have four of Top 25 MiL ballparks

The below Baseball America article was from back in May of 2015 but it just popped up in my Facebook feed yesterday. Anyway, the Phillies' affiliates' playing facilities score very well in their rankings of best minor league ballparks. Perhaps someone else built nicer parks since then, who knows.

I attend Allentown and Reading and both parks are very good. Both ownerships are constantly improving the parks, the food offerings, the general experience. I've only been to Lakewood once, but it is a really impressive facility. Reading used to be noted for not great clubhouses, but that was taken care of in an upgrade a couple years ago.

I have been to all four of them and one thing that I found remarkable about LKW and CLW was how similar they were in terms of layout (particularly the walk-around concourse, the tiki bars in the same locations, the similar group and picnic areas, the concession courts). LKW came first and I can't help but wonder if the CLW was modeled after it.

I went to Reading for the first time last week. It was an excellent experience. Seats were comfortable; not tight at all. The fans are close to the game. It was extremely fan/family oriented. The only bad mark that I could see is that the lighting in the OF was not the best in the alleys.

It isnt a Phils park, but there is no way Pensacola should be this low on the list. It is certainly better than Reading and LHV and I am guessing most of the rest of them. I have also been to Birmingham and honestly the one in Pensacola is better.

Small park simple, easy concessions spread around the ballpark and a better view than any of them (by a very wide margin). This list is WAY off in my opinion.
