(OT) Tiggerhawk's been awfully quiet

Hello again.
So, a quick update on my dad's recovery. Progress is very slow, but there has been progress! Tiggerhawk is still in a care facility, where he's getting speech and physical therapy. His speech is improving, although he struggles to find the words he wants and it is still not really possible to have a real conversation. He's been taking a few steps, with assistance. He's able to watch games and he doesn't have any problem finding the right swear words to shout at the tv.
I wish I had more to report, but it is at least moving in the right direction! I've passed your messages on and he seemed pleased; when he is able to speak a bit more he may have a response; I am looking forward to being able to hear his opinions again myself.

I'm his daughter. Tiggerhawk had a stroke in July (shortly after his last post here, but I'm not suggesting any connection). He's recovering in a care facility, but not able to post or read the forum.
I know he enjoys his conversations here, and I wanted to explain his silence over the last weeks.
We've hung a Phillies banner in his room, and he has watched a couple of games. Quietly!

Progress is encouraging, especially being able to follow games on TV. Rehab is a difficult process. The therapists seem trained to push you just to the edge of your breaking point.
