The Mets rotation has had it even tougher than Atlanta I'd say. And they still lead MLB with a 3.11 starter ERA (Phillies third, 3.34). Not where they spend most of their money either. Manea makes as much as Nola but only for three years, everyone else makes less than Walker.
Manea, three years $25 million per, has yet to pitch this year
Montas, two years, $17 million per, just made his first start of the year
Senga, five years $14 million per, out since June 13 but expected back soon
Holmes, three years $12.5 millionish per (converting from relief like Hoffman wanted to) he's been great
Peterson, one year $4.25 million (avoiding arb)
Canning, one year, $4.25 (free agent, he had $1 million in incentives he won't hit now)
Megill, one year $1.975 (avoiding arb)
Paul Blackburn, one year , their long/swing man (6.62 ERA includes two relief stints and three starts)
