Who knows if he will come out of this throwing harder as he was touching 100 when he got here. More important, his first few outings were more 94-95 on the fastball so it looks like he has added 3-4 mph in the last month. Which of course is to be expected in a recovery like this. Pan does seem to be the type of pitcher that needs to narrow his offerings to maybe 3 pitches so he can evolve into more of a short relief role. He came here with 7 pitches and not enough stamina to hold his stuff beyond 3 or 4 innings.
