LHV series preview vs Rochester. Wheeler on Wednesday. Friday's opposing pitcher (Perales) was the guy the Nats received in a rare prospect for prospect trade back in December from the Red Sox. Starter that works in the high 90s.

The Rockies are getting all of our AAAA prospects. In addition to TJ Rumfield on the big club, Eiberson Castellano is on the mound for Hartford tonight against Reading.

Meanwhile Brad Pacheco is the starter at Clearwater and is solidly on our potential breakout prospect list sitting 95-97 over multiple innings.

After not looking very good his last time out Gabe Craig’s big slider was back tonight- really nasty. Fastball was very straight though. He was throwing something with a nice tail/fade that kept hitter off balance- I couldn’t tell if it was a changeup or lazy 2 seamer.

Pacheco’s fast ball was really good- both his 4 seam and sinker, but only like 1 in 5 sliders looked good.

Big story Tuesday in the minors was UDFA signing Sam Highfill who pitched 4 no-hit innings for JS with 5 Ks and no BBs. Don’t know what he was throwing, but for one day at least it wasn’t hittable.
