woah. 6 games. Big day. Feels like Reading has played Portland like a thousand times already. Lehigh Valley going up against 2 guys with sub 2 ERAs.

Yes, really bad starts for Pinto and Watson. Pinto has 4 walks and 2 HRs in just 3 IP. Watson doesn't give up a walk, but 7 hits including a HR in 3 IP won't get it done.

Lakewood finally scores, but the run scores in an inning without a hit. Quinn at CLW having good luck this far, only 3 R in 5 IP, despite a walk and 9 hits, including 2 HRs.

Love to see more hitting in the NE teams, but c'est la vie.

After watching a week of Blue Claws games, I'm ready to say Brito and Moniak have obvious hitting skills, but huge problems with their plan, or lack their of. Brito hits lead off and swings at any first pitch he can reach. Moniak swings at high fastballs- seemingly no matter what the count. So like I said- the hitting ability is obvious. The approach is surprisingly poor.
