Mavis Graves with a very good start tonight. Looking for him to move from the "it's early, but kind of disappointing list" - Graves, Miller, Saltiban, among others - to the "performing at or above expected level", which includes Abel, Crawford, Escobar and Tait.

Painter pitched 3 shutout innings but gave up runs in the 4th.

Miller fell below the Mendoza line in the Reading game.

Only raised his average to .159, but 3 hits, 3 RBI with a 2B and HR is a pretty good day. Tough park to play in so hopefully he is coming out of that early season shock

Painter pitched 3 shutout innings but gave up runs in the 4th.

Fastball sat around 96 without much life. Hitters aren’t missing it and as a result he’s throwing a lot of breaking balls. They might be better served to force him to throw more fastballs to either command it better or at least try to build back some velo.

It's going to take a few months before that conversation should happen.
