He throws a pitch he calls a slider, but is getting classified as a cutter. He says that he changes the shape, but it gets to more of a sweeping slider that looks like a second pitch. Based on the characteristics, the cutter should be his best pitch in the long term (it is hard and tight and he gets a vertical angle that reminds me of Alvarado on it), but he doesn’t have great control of it yet.
