Both Nola and Robertson throwing 89-91(granted Robertson’s is a cutter). Nola spotted all his pitches well, while Robertsons cutter found the heart of the strike zone quite a few times then looked like he really started to labor once he got to 20 pitches. I’m very nervous about another round of the Robertson experience, because you know no matter what his stuff looks like Thomson is going to pitch him in a lot of important spots.
Crawford had a couple really nice ABs against the tough lefty Harrrison, including a drag bunt where he managed to keep his bat flat and still. I never thought I’d enjoy watching bunting but it’s so nice to watch someone that actually knows how to do something so basic.
Somewhat shocking, there doesn’t seem to be a stat page that tracks bunt base hits. Does anyone know of one? There are “sacrifice hits” that seems to just be sac bunts/flies
