We are wasting a lot of offense in LV...Kemp is 3/4 with 2 HR and 6 RBI tonight. Iron Pigs have 16 runs so far...
Some justified skepticism of Kemp on our board here, but his April has been outstanding and everything we could ask: OPS >1.000 before tonight's outburst.
Mick Abel with another strong outing tonight as well.
Kemp has been a positive surprise. He was older but there were always some pieces to his game (exit velocity) that suggested he was more of a prospect than his stats. He still does not have much of a position, but he is certainly looking at least like a credible major league utility player now.
Erubiel Armenta had it going tonight after a disaster of a first rehab outing. 5 up, 5 Ks this evening.
