Similar to the Ranger AAV with an age premium it seems. 1M bonuses for trades until 10/5 rights kick in.

Not my money, but seems like a good deal in line with market. If I recall there were two starts that ballooned his ERA. Happy to have him around for a while.

I always liked Ranger, but I think signing Luzardo was smarter. Nothing is guaranteed, but it seems more likely that Luzardo will be more valuable over the course of his contract than Ranger.

Basically Walker's money plus another $9 million (which you could say is freed up by Bohm, or even Alvarado, next year). I assume the Nick money still goes to offense. Or perhaps even another SP.

Can't see another SP unless Wheeler/Nola are finished.
Sanchez, Luazardo, Wheeler, Nola, Painter. You don't pay real money for #6.

Well, yeah. Nola, Wheeler and Painter are all not sure things. And Wheeler will only be one year away from free agency or retirement. Between the lockout and not being able to afford Skubal they probably won't get out in front of it, but given Dombrowski's track record and the Dodgers' formula, you can't rule it out either.
