I would call it mild dysfunction though I think they also realize they got rid of a pretty good manager in Baker for no good reason. Now they have an average manager who is in a bad situation.

I never understood why they fired Baker, who’s won with every team he’s managed and has always done a nice job of getting different personalities to mesh. Whatever the trends with respect to the hiring of new managers, Davey Martinez seemed like an odd choice as Nationals manager.
