That is very possible. People have been calling for him to be fired because he lost the clubhouse theoretically after that incident that caused them to trade 2 decent relievers.
I think it is a bit overblown. Some old-school analytics people ignoring the fact that their starting pitching got hurt or was mediocre for a crucial month in the middle. Some of it is on Rizzo for those reliever purges.
I would call it mild dysfunction though I think they also realize they got rid of a pretty good manager in Baker for no good reason. Now they have an average manager who is in a bad situation.
