Well Duran did still need the work.

Would have been nice to take an extra one from the lowly Nats but when you think about everything that happened in this series as well as how rough Nola had it, I'll take it.

It's also still easier to win a game you once led 6-0, even after you blow it, then one you trail early.

If this was the game that gets Bohm and Nick back into a groove that would be huge.

It is good to have a closer.

Also great to win, but multiple concerns today if one wants to worry.

Letting the Nationals score 9 runs on 13 hits is not good, but not losing this game is good.

Nola leaves us concerned. Once he went of track after a quick K to start the third, he did not get another out. His ERA has risen almost to the level of Walker last season. I hope he comes back with a better start next time around. The bullpen did a good job until Lazar tried for a second inning.

It will be good to get home.

Have to hope it is just settling back in to pitching at the ML level for Nola and using a bunch of relievers to get through a game.

Offense needs to produce to give our beleaguered pitching staff some room to breathe and find their footing again.

Seattle comes to town and then we get a day off before facing the Nats, Mets and Braves. Win the series vs Seattle and go from there.

They finally won a game with us in attendance since 2018, but they did their best to not make us feel secure till the final out! On the train back home with quite a few Phils fans based on hats. VA fans showed up!
