Pretty nice one to steal when your ace only goes five innings and can't even get the W. And that 2-2 score and four-run lead still called for the Top 4 relievers 6-9, until things changed.

Radio guys speculated they wanted Duran to not deal with the steps he'd need to do to get back inside.

Duran was standing without assistance and fixing his pants leg while waiting for the cart. I think they were being cautious but until we get an exam and explanation, I'm holding my breath. He had not pitched for several games so I have no problem with him coming in for the ninth in a non-save game situation. I certainly hope he is okay and will be back soon.

Robertson gave up the double but no runs scored. Phillies win. A well needed win. Bullpen gives us four scoreless innings. Well done.

So this is a players safety protocol? He was standing the entire time. If they are worried about an injury, then shouldn't his shoe have been removed to account for swelling or, you know, not been standing on it? You can't help him off to the dugout and account for stairs later?

Seemed like a crazy situation on all accounts.
