I'm still not fully sold on him. People keep saying "except for those two starts" but he has not been rock-solid/steady. As has been discussed in other thread he is probably the most likely guy in the post-season pen though (Ranger too good, Nola not suited, and DD also says Painter isn't a consideration, though who really knows on that one).
In the short term still a great 4th starter, in the longer term, a decision on re-signing Ranger vs. extending him possibly.
