Games like this are why I don't take their record seriously.

This team isn't far from being competitive, either some players step up or get pushed out, but give them an average bullpen and they're close to.500 in June.
They won a lot of games last year they should have lost before Gomez wore down, this year they've lost a bunch of games an average bullpen would have won.
It's a work in progress, painful to watch, but you can see pieces starting to fall into place.
