Hate to steal thunder from the draft thread, but the Phils are up 4-0 in the first. Herrera, Nava, Joseph, Blanco, and Franco all with hits.
Given that the Phillies don't come here often, I had to come to the game. Enjoying it so far!
Lineups:
The phils got four and i bet no more. eichy is cracking and it will be tied soon. how does he look BR? he looks like he is nibbling on TV.gm
Eickhoff doesn't look good. They're squaring him up often.
And Nava was so safe. Replay review is useless.
Red Sox tie the game 4-4 in the bottom of the 4th. Still runners on 2nd and 3rd, 1 out.
Phils get out of the inning without further damage as Herrera throws out a runner at the plate trying to score on a sac fly.
Altherr and Kendrick combine to get the Phils back up 5-4.
Eickhoff is outpitching the reigning Cy Young Award winner.
Well, yes...but he's given up four runs in four innings. That's more Porcello not getting it done than anything much about Jerad tonight.
I need a sarcasm emoji!
Hmm... I gotta figure there's something in there - there are a boatload of emojis available. I'll look (pick #45 is a long way off...)
:
...best I can do.
I don't know whether I want Eickhoff out of there, given the alternatives...
Neshek threw seven pitches in the seventh inning. Why not bring him back for the eighth?
LA just made the same comment on the radio broadcast.
No, apparently relievers can pitch only one inning.
Hanley ties it up with a blast over the green monster and out of the stadium.
The good news is that Farrell saw fit to send Panda up to punch hit. He hits about as well as me these days.
The bad news is that Kimberly is in.
The good news is that Panda is playing third base. He does that about as well as me, too.
I wish I hadn't said that...
