Not a lot to cheer about until Altherr's home run. Stassi stung a ball in the bottom of the 5th that Roark snagged for a double play. Gotta tip your hat to a fine defensive play on that one.
My vote for runner-up star of the game: Vince Velasquez. Sent up to sacrifice in the bottom of the 10th, everyone in the ballpark knew he was going to bunt, and he still managed to lay down a bunt that was so good that he reached first without a throw. The runner that reached 3rd (Herrera) eventually scored the winning run.
Great win today, especially going into an off day tomorrow.
