Jesse Orosco won both games for the Mets against the Pirates. Bob Bailor drove in Darryl Strawberry to walk-off G1. George Foster drove in Mookie Wilson to end G2.

Chase Shugart is the 1st pitcher to earn 2 wins on the same day since Brian Duensing did so for the Twins on Aug. 9, 2013.

A very good day to be a Phillies phan.

Bohm drove it well into center to make the tag and score easy. Certainly the hero today with the defense in the top of the tenth and the winning RBI in the bottom of the inning to walk it off. Many others contributed to the win and to the sweep of the Giants. Stott's bunt set up the win and he had two successful sacrifices today.

Shugart wins both games. His holding the Giants scoreless in the top of the 10th is huge, especially startomg wotj tje ghost runner on second.

A great day in South Philly. I called my daughter after the Sixers won.
