Wilson was carted off the field yesterday during practice after Brett Toth rolled over on his leg. i have not seen any updates or even indications what was injured (knee, ankle) just that he could not put any pressure on that side which is why they brought the cart out.

Technically Smith, Wilson and Brown are all injured now. But obviously Howie likes Metchie better than what they already had at the bottom of the depth chart or he doesn't do the deal. They obviously put a lot of stock in the Alabama thing and what they liked about him when he was in his draft year.

Rumors are Wilson will be out for a while, possibly the whole season. That changes the Eagles’ roster choices and possibly Howie's transaction targets.

That’s a real shame, particularly since he’s had such a strong camp this year. The trade for a wide receiver takes on different value now, I’m scared of whatever dark magic Howie Roseman is dealing with. To know that he needed a wide receiver before the injury, But I am very supportive of it if it brings another Super Bowl.

Pryor is a lock
Kendall is probably a lock
Kinnard seems to be coming on late in camp
They love Toth, but he’s a vested vet who they can demote to the practice squad without waivers and resign. If Landon is OK for game 1 they may go that route.
Hinton is a risk if they waive him; he will probably make the 53 due to the risk another team poaches him.
Keegan and Greene have been getting bad reviews from the writers, especially lately
Lamm is the veteran signing they hoped would step up, but writers have also been down on him

I wonder if Howie will be active looking for a top back-up offensive lineman? Trotter is probably their best trade chip, but I can’t think of a good guard/tackle that a team would trade for him.

I would expect that they keep Hinton and possibly Kinnard (depending on 9 or 10).
Toth to PS and elevated for game 1.

We'll see tonight. If Toth plays, he's going to the PS. If he sits, Landon is probably not OK for week 1 and Toth makes the 53.

Eagles traded a 2026 5th Round Pick and a 2027 7th Round pick to the Minnesota Vikings for QB Sam Howell and a 2026 Sixth Round Pick.

I'm good with this, but mostly from the standpoint that it gives them a chance to work with a legit #2, see if they like him and if they do, they keep him around when they move McKee at year end. St Joe looked sooo far from being a contributor in game action that I think Howie needed to do something this season -- personally, I thought they might just grab Hundley when he hit waivers but I kind of like this better given the costs.

One other move I'd like to see would be to pick up a legit nickel backup, so that if we need to move Cooper to safety sometime this year we can. I thought McWilliams looked bad this last week. In fact, until they named who 22 was in the 3Q of the game I really thought McPherson was back in camp. I doubt they will, but I'd like to see it.

Being reported that Howie is still in trade mode - bringing Fred Johnson back from Jacksonville in exchange for a 7th round pick (2026) and then sending Darian Kinnard to Green Bay for a 6th.

They were not comfortable with Pryor as the swing OT and Johnson is a known quantity in that role here. Trading Kinnard is stranger, thought he had potential.

Monday and Tuesday are going to see some more strange moves by Howie. It is now partly a numbers game re. both players and '26 draft choices. We have 90 players and some of the 37 we must cut are quality. It is hard to trade for additional draft picks when we already have 13. At a few positions we are loaded and have to try to convert the ones we aren't keeping into someone of future value. Interesting times!

They have Pryor, and now they have trust in Kendall. Keegan would be a priority over Green at this point and he (Keegan) is probably behind Toth, although Toth can be cut and resigned without being exposed to waivers.

No shot in hell he was making this team.

Yes. I mean, it always seemed like a cap trade, but I was still hoping Green could revive his career.
