Can't imagine they wanted to deal in-division or give him the satisfaction of playing in PA. Also, could the Eagles have done that contract?

Some of my Texas friends are Luka level pissed.

I reckon the Packers are only a rival in the playoffs (playoffs?) whereas the Eagles are rival rival (tho in truth they never saw it that way till we started winning super bowls).

Eagles have made the following roster moves:

** Signed RB Audric Estime and DB Ambry Thomas to the practice squad and released

** Released WR Terrace Marshall and CB Eli Ricks from the unit

** Placed G/C Willie Lampkin on the Injured Reserve List

I’m surprised Ricks was released. I also read that there were a lot of people in the NFL that felt like the Eagles claiming somebody with an injury designation (Lampkin) went against an unwritten rule.

I’d expect Covey and Sam to be elevated week 1, with P.Johnson a possibility instead of Sam if Mukuba is fully healthy.

There are 7 guys on the PS who have almost zero chance of playing this year, who are fully developmental prospects:

The rest are injury insurance and specialists who might be elevated on moved to the 53.

Why do you think Sam will be elevated over Epps?

Epps is much more capable of filling in right now if Blankenship or Brown were to get dinged during the game, and that's what you are looking for right now with Mukuba sidelined and McCollum gone.

In fact, it would not surprise me if Epps plays more than Brown against the Cowpokes if Mukuba is still not 100%.

If I'm not mistaken, the roster is at 52, so the bigger question is who gets the 53rd spot before Thursday. With Lampkin and Hinton on IR, I guess it would be Epps, with Covey and P. Johnson elevated.
