I don't know how to quote something from an older thread, but i wanted to revisit something i was wrong on during the draft because every time the Jags win I think about how wrong i was lol.

I thought the Browns-Jags draft day trade was awful because I assumed the Jags were going to be the same old Jags and that their 2026 first round pick was going to be another top ten pick. I stand corrected @dicemen99

Given that Philly probably has the angriest fans among those teams, I think we need to get some perspective and realize how lucky we are to be Eagles’ fans in 2025/6.

And I'm sure Bengals and Rams fans thought they'd be back in the SB a couple of times since 2022. Packers fans also very bummed this year.

Which is not to say the Eagles look like SB champions this year. But it's a good team with another real shot. And even the most over the top angry fans can see some of the wear-and-tear with their own eyes. But you can't egg the house of an injured offensive lineman or overused RB.

Of that list, only the Chefs is that surprising. Young QBs are a big reason for some of these results. Drake Maye, Caleb, and Nix, especially. Darnold went from the Vikings to the Seahawks and Jayden has been injured half of the year.

I think the gripe this season is that the offense just hasn't played up to their potential. I think it's a valid point. Yes, there have been injuries, but a lot of teams had injuries.

I do agree that the Eagles are still a good team with a valid shot.

I would add the ravens to that list, they are consistently good and do a great job every off-season. I would be surprised if they don’t bounce back next year.

The Ravens era might be over. Questions about Lamar, possibility that Harbaugh finally moves on (or they from him). Would be an Andy Reid type situation really.

Yeah, I have no idea how the Ravens will perform next year. They aren't exactly a young team and have a lot of question marks. Still, with Lamar you always have a chance.

I think the Lions will bounce back especially if they have a favorable schedule.

Very bad weather predicted for Buffalo today. Cold with heavy rain. It could be really ugly to watch, and hard to stay healthy for the players.

Low-mid 40s isn't too bad, but yes it looks like a lot of rain. At least they don't play on grass.

First half will be worse than the second it looks like. Over 1” per hour rain at some points...as someone wrote elsewhere, at least it’s not predicted to be windy.

And honestly, being outside in low-to-mid 40s and soaked to the skin isn’t a picnic. I get that it’s warm for Buffalo, but it’s not warm for human beings!

It's not like Philly is warm right now. It's still not above 30 north of Philly right now.

As a runner, high 30s and low 40s is pretty much ideal and that is in shorts and without pads on. But I know that is subjective.

The Bills game is exactly why the fans are upset. The play calling in the 2nd half was horrible. The defense played great.

I do not believe that the Bills came back in this game but rather the Birds allowed them in it with their anemic play calling in the 4th. They won and had nothing to play for when the Bills clearly did. This game wasn’t that close, the Eagles D is a force, and the o-line looks better than they have all year. I’m excited!

Which is exactly why fans should be upset. This game shouldn't have been close. The offensive play calling was horrible.

It's looking like a Super Bowl defense, but can the offense (and play-callers) step it up in the playoffs? Sitting on that lead wasn't pretty, and almost didn't work out, which, whatever. But Eagles were still playing for the #2 seed, maybe.

As good as the D was, a little disappointing to hear the Bills ran that same play just a few week weeks ago.
