Really like how it appears that the Eagles are developing a nastiness and an advantage at home. For the longest time it has felt like they've had no home field advantage. And this year, through 3 games the defense is averaging less than 8 points allowed per game. Developing a reputation at home as a place teams fear to go is something they haven't really had since the final years at the Vet. Really pleased to see that.
Stinks about Brooks being out, with Jenkins having to move to that spot. Hate to weaken a strength.
Very impressed by the special teams play. Scoring 2 weeks in a row on kick returns is really hard to do.
Eagles have fared well in Dallas lately, and hopefully the break will have the same effect on the Cowboys as it did on the Birds. This is a huge game. You do not want to start out 0-2 in the division. It may very well come down to tie-breakers at the end of the year, and you have to take care of your division. If you're gonna lose, lose to an AFC team.
