It is nice to see such kind words here and elsewhere about LC, if he had that career in this era he'd be looked at like Aaron Nola is now by much of the online fanbase.
His postseason outings were pretty bad, except for the 1981 series against the Expos. Maybe it was just the nature of my folks but in the EF household then it seemed like the emotions about that were more disappointment, not the anger you see in similar situations in the internet era.
Wonder if all the medical progress that's happened since then might have helped him have a longer career.
