I edited mine with WMMR's post. His death must have been sudden. Just this past week, he was posting on Facebook while hanging around Rittenhouse Square.
oh for sure he was at the Hooters shows over the weekend too. It was either something medically catastrophic like a heart attack/aneurysm or self-inflicted (I hope not).
One of tbe voices of my life although I listened to WYSP more growing up. Like Harry the K, Whitey, Gene Hart and a few others, I can hear his voice in my head now. RIP
Overshadowed by Mr. Robert but perhaps an even a bigger part of my youth, especially on snow days. Also the voice of Temple football.
