The schedule update is if the Dodgers win tonight then the 3 games tomorrow start at 3 instead of 1, and the games start 2 hours later in each series. Reds win it's the same gametimes as the games of day 1 and 2.

Padres down to the Cubs and can't seem to get anything going. Should that score hold, teams that won the first game of these WC series under the current format will have a perfect 15-0 record, pending the outcome of the Yankees-Red Sox game.

Padres and Umps almost come to blows after the game

You never want to see a blown call in such a key late moment but I also saw a story that said the bases would have been loaded had the walk been called. But that is alternate timeline stuff. There's no way to know the two HBPs would have happened the same way.

Gonna be interesting to see how teams use and save their challenges.
