For sure. Only 108 college innings, 167 S0- to 38 BB. Had 23 walks in his first 30 innings he pitched. 15 walks in 78 innings is pretty darn good. Going to be fascinating on how they start him. I don't think he is going to the bullpen and coming up this year as others have suggested. I think he is going to continue to start and be a 2/3 starter when he gets to the Majors. High floor guy. I really like the pick.

Cade Obermueller, a lefty from Iowa, considered very advanced, stuff not great, but good enough. Might be quick to the big leagues if his pitchability holds up in the pros. Sort of a two-pitch guy, FB and slider. Velocity jump in his FB this year, so my criticism of his stuff may be overstated.

Its all speculation on X but one person says it and all of a sudden it snowballs. The Phillies have exactly one time in their existence (Dick Ruthven) has gone from drafted to the majors. The chance of this happening is very slim. I think they develop Wood as a starting pitcher. He could fast track but fast track could be 2027
