In the playoffs, where the viewing audience is much larger, he slowly jogged out a ground ball that was juggled by the infielder that he would have been safe on by a mile if he ran. In the World Series he also stopped and posed on a fly ball that he thought was a homer but ended up hitting the top of the fence and ended up with a single.
He had the incident versus the Brewers where he landed on the first baseman's foot (and he was fined for it, so intent was determined) and in game 5 of the World Series, he stepped on the back of the first baseman's foot again, but no big stink was made about it because there was no injury, but it was shown a few times during the broadcast.
Follow that up with a lousy World Series performance, including making the final out, and then the reports of the Yankees souring on him, I think there is a good chance the Phillies can sign him and maybe at a slightly lower than expected price.
