The more I think about, the Sixers trading for Jimmy Butler just makes so much sense. A package based on Okafor (a Chicago native), one of this year's lottery picks, the better of this year's second round picks, the rights to Korkmaz, and maybe another player, say Stauskas, should get it done.
That would give the Sixers a starting five of Simmons, Butler, Embid, Ilyasova, Covington. The would have a bench of McConnel, Henderson, Noel, Saric, Rodriguez, Holmes, Luwawu-Cabarrot.
They would still have at least a top ten pick this years draft, a first round pick next year, a slew of second round picks over the next few years, and two first round picks in 2019.
