If anything, I am guessing Miller is an overslot guy, which are somewhat unusual in the 1st round anymore (not rare, but it seems like most teams have been saving a little from the early slots). Does this mean we need to free up some room with the #3 pick and go for a college player with less leverage?
I assume the team knows already what Miller wants, so the #3 pick, which is really our best chance to free up cap room, is the best chance. Remember, we have the smallest cap of any team, so it is going to take a little managing this year and we might end up with more college types than other years. Hopefully we can still get a solid prospect with our #11 pick, but I wouldn't count on us signing 3-4 high schoolers after the 10th round.
