Sixers management and Nurse now have to get on the same page with minutes and missed games. LeBron and Embiid obviously will not play any back-to-backs, so you stagger them for those games. With Maxey, VJ, Philon, and Simons your guards should not be playing more than 32-35 minutes, including Maxey, who will get more off-ball time which is easier, too. Brown will probably lead the team in minutes because there isn’t an obvious “3” behind him (Edwards? VJ? Barlow/Wade at 4 and James at 3?). They are a good, deep team right now. I would have very strict minutes rules for Nurse who is the fly in the ointment. They also need to abandon the steals at all costs defense for positional play, which is also non-Nurse. Their defenders are better doing normal things.
They actually have to have a Nurse is ruining the season already back-up plan in place for mid-November-ish.
