Ok, I did listen to the Ledgler audio.
A few things:
1) He didn't improve much on his FT% as the season went on. That's just lazy analysis. By month... 54%, 55%, 55%, 58%, and 67%. The 67% was only on 12 attempts, so I am going to put that in the SSS category. And even if I didn't, it's not like that's a great percentage. He also says that his mechanics aren't terrible, but looking at the video that I posted, they obviously aren't good.
2) I agree that he has good vision, but it's not like he's going to be the 1st or 2nd option on offense so his vision may be under utilized as Simmons has better vision and neither of the two has a good shot.
3) He has decent athleticism, but the league is filled with athletes and if you can't shoot or finish at the rim at a high rate, then your chances of being a plus player are long.
Again, it's not like I'd be super upset with the pick, but I know that Jackson has to develop a shot in order to be the player that he's touted to be. Much like Fox needs to develop a shot. However, given Fox's FT%, his position, and his defense, I am more comfortable with him being the pick.
