Well, it's not the worst thing if Boston gets the pick this year, but it is the best scenario if the 76ers get 1 or 6 in this draft. If not, we still would have two 1st round picks in the 2019 draft (theirs and Sacramento's). The good news is they are still awash in money, and resources.
Redick has been a great addition, and even though they overpaid to get him, he seems to like it here and maybe they can re-up him on a 3 year deal at a lower per year value. They could do that and still have enough money to lure a big time free agent (think LeBron might want to come here with the talent on this team?), or maybe pry away Thompson from Golden State, who is a free agent in 2019 but they have to re-up Durant this year (hard to imagine they can afford Durant, Curry and Thompson).
