Well, the only candidate that's inspired me this cycle was Mayor Pete. The youngest of the bunch. Right now, Trump's the youngest man still in the race (I don't know whether or not Warren is older).
Forgive me for a few days of anger that the one potentially transformational Democrat in the race was apparently read the riot act - double-teamed by both Presidents Carter and Obama! - to quit the race and endorse the desparate bid of Joe Biden. What makes the Dems think Biden can beat Bernie Sanders? He's got little money or organization, he's gaffe-prone if not senile (he called Chris Wallace Chuck Todd the other day, and lamented 150 million deaths due to gun violence), and he's as inspiring as my breakfast bowl of corn flakes.
And as for dividing the party, that sure looks inevitable to me. As much as the sane Dems I know want little part of socialist Bernie, his supporters are thuggish and won't take well to the Dem "establishment" taking what they feel is theirs away.
