I guess folks are too shocked or numb to post about the absolutely horrific incidents that have happened in this last 7-10 days.
We have a clear and urgent domestic terrorism problem, mostly from the right, but there are leftist groups being radicalized at the same time.
Two blacks gunned down at a Krogers in Kentucky after the shooter could not barge his way into a black church.
A serial bomber sent deadly packages to 15 of Trump's political enemies including 2 former Presidents.
And then Saturday's horrible shooting at the synagogue in Pittsburgh, killing 11 people and wounding 6 others.
It is also beyond disgraceful how the current political leadership of both parties offer nothing but platitudes, "thoughts and prayers" and then quickly move onto attacking and demonizing their opponents without taking any responsibility for how their poisoned discourse is contributing to this rise in violence, hatred, division and disinformation. Trump and the Republicans thrive on the madness and the Democrats appear confused, baffled and demoralized like they were in 2016.
The reaction is largely a shrug and back to business as usual - that is the most disturbing thing of all of it. I hope everyone votes next Tuesday and gets engaged in what is going on in our country. We are in big trouble if this continues at this pace.
