If it is any consolation our pitchers have a cumulative .400 BABIP against them. 6.4 BB/9 is not helping either. Fielding is probably not great with that BABIP.
I do realize they are pretty young. BR has the average pitching age of 20.4 vs 20.8 for the league. And there are a couple of Mitch Neunborn innings in that age calculation. Maybe holding a few back who are now at Clearwater would have made sense, but again if that means signing older players at upper levels (with the roster limits) I am not sure what that accomplishes in terms of developing prospects.
Hopefully the DSL pitching is better this year so they can get back on track in FCL next season.
