At this point, I am completely ready to send Crawford back to Clearwater to let him have a little success or clear his head or whatever. Promote Canelo to AAA and promote Stankiewicz up from Clearwater to Reading.

Rather than demote him, I was thinking perhaps a week or two in XST for Crawford to let him "work on some things" and/or jump start his bat and confidence and/or clear his head and/or effectively hit the reset button on his season and/or whatever
Either of these ideas are good. I don't think that it does Crawford any good to be flailing away in futility at LV.
